Excellent transformation from book to app. All the additional features help bring the message to life.

This is good and very important content, wrapped in a very well-designed app. Unlike many apps with good graphic design, attention has also been paid to thorough editing, and there are few typos. The only criticism I would make is that there doesnt seem to be a clear policy on whether to use the serial comma.

I think everyone should read it. This book is very easy to read yet it includes very complex truths like they were little bits of stories. After reading it you will be amazed, and you will start taking action towards making this world a little bit habitable day by day to your offspring, to the future generations. I hope you will read it, and enjoy it. Thanks to Mr. Al Gore and everybody for their sincere endevors to inform us.

Information through a piece of art of an app.

Worderful application for a new concept of media. Really great application and book

Its really pretty. But the 52 MB reported for the size is deceiving. The app will download 1 GB of data, which is frankly excessive even for such a pretty book.

I downloaded the extra contents, but I cant open them, under each chapter I have just a black image, and nothing selectable

Have downloaded both on iPad and on iPhone and there is NO audio! Is this maybe due to the new 5 version? Please fix this asap. Thanks Cat

I saw the film he did a few years back and while it was nothing new in knowing about the problems, it was an in your face representation. This is a compelling interactive literary work that I and my 3rd grader are really enjoying.

I would like to be able to hear the book. I dont see why Al couldnt have added him reading the book. My eye sight isnt that great and it wouldnt take that much more to add a voiceover.

The book worked fine for the first few days then all the text disappeared. I tried to resolve the issue by following instructions from the website but nothing worked. I sent 2 emails a week apart to the company (Pushpop Press) and havent heard anything form them to date. The app was good when it worked but I cant read it now so its no good to me and I cant find any help. Too bad, I was starting to get into it.

Really enjoyed experiencing the content in this format. A couple of things I kept wishing for was information on the great photos at the beginning of each chapter and the ability to look up a word within the app. Would have been nice to have an information button to overlay the specifics about the photo.

Very powerful and insightful. Downgraded my iPad from iOS 5 beta(which plenty of apps arent yet compatible with) just to finish this book.

Really well written as a book, and finally a video book that I feel like I can actually enjoy the additions to.

Okay, I really thought Al shoulda been President and the world would be better off if he had won. That being said, this is a fantastic blend of text, narration, video clips and interactive charts. Really a beautiful example of what a multimedia experience should be. Regardless of your views you have to admire the package even if you dont like what is inside.

Regardless of your position on global climate change, this app demonstrates the real power of electronic media presentation. The material is well presented and is of the highest quality. Even the historic news footage is great. Push Pop Press has created a framework that has set the standard for digital publications. Well worth the $4.99 price. If you are an app developer, you will appreciate the quality of this app. Great work! I look forward to you future apps. I would give you 10 stars if it were possible.

In a small town, I teach high school to about 120 eager to learn students every day. It is my opportunity to have a bigger voice in our future. I recommend all my students to watch your last documentary at home as I showed them your Movie teaser. They are eager for more In my computer and Technology classes, I can assure you that ALL my students will know how to use this app on our devices even if I have to pay for it out if my own pocket. My friends and family will get my personal download instructions on their Ipads and Iphones.. We need a leader like you. I dont make much but if I could still support my family, I would leave my post here to help you spread the news to the world. I would get a guest speaking day at every high school and middle school that time would allow. My 7 year old son would come with and demonstrate how easy it is to use. I will teach him. Mr. Gore. My 9 yr old daughter will sit down and read this on her own and then ask a million questions. We have since started purchasing all of our electricity through renewable suppliers, we are looking to purchase an electric vehicle next year and add solar panels to the house. I imagine a day when my daughters will not have to stop at a gas station and their vehicles are powered by the sun. It is a great application that combines all of the media option, print, photos, maps, videos, interactive graphs. It would be great if text books were like this. Cannot wait for the next app.
